By Andy Guevarez My 1971 Charger R/T: Hemi Orange, 440 Magnum has Edelbrock Alum. heads, Comp Cams Roller Rockers, Edelbrock Performer RPM intake, Edelbrock 750 Carb, MSD ignition system, Hooker Super Comp Ceramic Headers with 2 1/2'exhaust and 50 series Flowmaster Mufflers. Turn down tail pipes as this car doesn't have the rear exhaust cut outs. 727 Auto Trans, originally geared with 323's but a "Gear Vendors" Over/under Drive unit was installed and changed to 391's on the gearing. Cruises 80 mph @ 3100 rpm. The interior is original but, a dash cap was added since the original was cracked in several spots. The original A/C was replaced with an A/C system from "Classic Auto Air" and an electric fan added to the radiator. My wife encouraged me to get it. I was actually looking for a '68 or '70 Charger R/T at the time. I found this on Ebay owned by a man living near me in Jupiter Fla.. The car was painted several years ago. Not a frame off restoration. We're thinking of maybe redoing the whole car at some point if I can find a good shop somewhere near my area.
